First DOLPHIN User Advisory Board meeting

The first DOLPHIN User Advisory Board (UAB) meeting was held on the 14th December 2011. The aim of the meeting was to discuss operational scenarios for the Border Surveillance, Traffic Safety and Fisheries Control policy areas that will be tested and validated during the lifetime of the project. Thanks to the proactive participation of EMSA, the Italian Coast Guard and UNIMAR from Italy, the meeting had a strong and positive impact on the design of the Operational Scenarios, in alignment with the Users’ needs. The Bundespolizei from Germany contributed to the meeting through DLR who presented their needs and requirements, in absentia. The meeting was kindly hosted by EMSA (European Maritime Safety Agency) in Lisbon, Portugal.
